Select tasks you want to demonstrate
A portfolio is not a pile of files; it explains evidence that you understand tasks in a target role. Choose two or three recurring tasks from a posting or O*NET description and include only work you may share. Remove or anonymize personal, confidential, or third-party material.
Add context to every case
For each case, state the request or problem, your scope, method, output, feedback, and what you would change. Do not show only a polished image: explain a decision made during revision. When an outcome cannot be verified, describe what you observed rather than making a definitive claim.
Review the portfolio with a checklist
□ Is the target task clear from the title? □ Are my contribution and collaboration separated? □ Is the format usable with accessibility tools? □ Did I check permission and privacy? Ask a trusted reader whether each case connects task to evidence, then record the feedback version and date.
