Compare roles before choosing one

Compare outputs, people, context, and preparation using the same criteria instead of relying on job titles.

Describe both roles in comparable terms

Choose roles A and B and highlight the verbs and outputs in their official descriptions. Separating tasks such as organizing information from explaining a process to people can reveal that similar titles may involve very different days.

Build observable criteria

For each role, record main tasks, collaborators or clients, setting and schedule, tools, preparation route, and what you still cannot tell. Replace “which is better?” with a question about the conditions in which you can learn and sustain your work.

Make a comparison table and verify one gap

□ Did I read an official duties description? □ Did I name a representative task? □ Did I research learning requirements and practical resources? □ Did I choose a difference to ask a practitioner about? After selecting a leading option, test the most uncertain row with a short observation or sample task.
